Fees & Insurance
Heron & Pine is legally prohibited from providing services to individuals insured by Medicaid due to Colorado State Statutes. If you have Medicaid, you must seek services from a Medicaid-paneled provider.
For Individuals
I can provide services for those seeking to:
- pay out-of-pocket,
- utilize HSA or FSA benefits,
- utilize their out-of-network benefits (for certain insurance providers),
- utilize their insurance benefits (for certain insurance providers).
As long as your application has been approved, I also accept Building Hope scholarships and EAP plans through the Mountain Strong platform. I am also a Crime Victim Compensation-approved provider.
The out-of-pocket rate for an individual 55–60-minute session is $150.
Through a specialty billing platform called Headway, I am credentialed with the following insurance companies:
- United Healthcare and affiliates (Optum, Oxford, and Oscar)
- Aetna and affiliates (Meritain)
Since individual plan benefits vary, exact cost information is not available here; however, I will work with you to verify your benefits and understand any copay or coinsurance costs.
For Couples
I can provide services for those seeking to:
- pay out-of-pocket or
- utilize HSA or FSA benefits.
The out-of-pocket rate for a 55–60-minute couples session is $180 and $250 for an 85–90-minute session.
Unfortunately, insurance reimbursement for couples counseling is not available through Heron & Pine.
